The Inspiration

This collection was inspired by Martin’s definition of the “grey character.” He states, “We all have good and evil in us [...] A villain is a hero of the other side and I think there’s a great deal of truth to that, and that’s the interesting thing.”
People are not black and white. We are all made up of many layers, consisting of various shades of grey. The Krystalrae lady embodies this same paradox. She relishes in the spotlight, but from backstage. She is extremely popular amongst just a few good friends. She is one who is most at peace in the midst of chaos.
The Krystalrae woman embraces her own irony and does not see the world as black and white. She knows that while no one is perfect, there is good and beauty that can be found in all of us. She lives without absolutes and understands
